Name: Ng Research Group_20220714_alpha-Pinene/Limonene_Nitrate radical_Ammonium sulfate_MIX-1
Date: 2022-07-14

Organization
Ng Research Group

Chamber
Georgia Tech Environmental Chamber (Far)

Experiment Set
MultiPrecursor_Takeuchi

Goals
To evaluate whether or not the formation and properties of secondary organic aerosol (SOA) formed via simultaneous oxidation of a-pinene and limonene can be described as linear combinations of pure a-pinene and limonene systems.

Summary
2 uL of liquid a-pinene and 0.4 uL of liquid limonene were injected, followed by the injection of 140 ppb of N2O5 (source of nitrate radical) at a rate of 11.3 ppb min-1.

Additional Notes
Initial oxidant concentration is the injected N2O5 concentration.

Name: MultiPrecursor_Takeuchi
Time format and units: Time is either ET or in min.
Description:
To understand whether or not the formation and properties of secondary organic aerosol (SOA) in multi-precursor systems can be described linearly using respective single-precursor systems. The system to investigate is nitrate radical oxidation of a-pinene and limonene.
