Instrument - UV to Visible Range Lab Spectroradiometer

Short name:
Spectroradiometer

Full name:
UV to Visible Range Lab Spectroradiometer

What is being measured:

Sampling Protocol:
Online

Manufacturer:
Apogee

Model:
PS-200

Instrument year :
None specified

Data recording software:

Data analysis software:
SpectraWiz

Raw data time resolution:
Depends on user

Analysis data averaging:

Detection limit:
190 nm - 850 nm

Sensitivity to temperature (and correction method, if applicable): :

Sensitivity to relative humidity (and correction method, if applicable): :
RH may affect the spectro-radiometer's sensitivity as far as the water vapors/droplets scatter light. There is no correction done for this as we are actually interested in measuring the effect of RH on UV light transmittance in our chamber.

Sampling method:
Instrument is placed in different areas of interest around the environmental chamber (eg: inside or outside the Teflon bag, close to or away from UV light source, etc.)

Sample preparation method:

Sample residence time (chamber to instrument) (seconds):

Length of tubing (cm):

Instrument flow rate:

Tubing inner diameter:

Tubing material:

Chemical identification method:

Data analysis method:
The detector collects light for the spectroradiometer via fiber-optic cable. The spectroradiometer then transmits its measurements to a PC where custom software displays the spectrum of the light source. Live data can be saved as a data file suitable for work in other programs, such as Excel.

Quantification method:

Calibration method:

Calibration drift estimate:
No estimate

Calibration schedule:

Uncertainty estimation method:
Uncertainty value provided by manufacturer in instrument manual.
