Experiment

Name: Browne Lab_20230815_Hydrogen Peroxide/Cyclomethicone 5_Hydroxyl radical_dioctyl sebacate_E9
Date: 2023-08-15

Organization
Browne Lab

Chamber
1-White (1W)

Experiment Set
D5 oxidation dioctyl sebacate seed

Goals
Investigate SOA formation from D5 oxidation with DOS seeds with CIMS, SMPS, AMS.

Summary
The siloxanol was the major gas-phase and particle-phase product with other particle-phase product(s); small amounts of SOA were formed via absorption.

Additional Notes
DOS is also being oxidized throughout the lights on period. D5 increased after the lights turned on. Chamber bag volume is changed several times to maintain the pressure in the chamber.
